General Job Description:

 

 

The Installation Technician position is responsible for a variety of field related activities including; specialization and proficiency in field installation, site safety, trouble-shooting, field quality, staff/supplier coordination and client communications.

Background/Educational Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED Required

  • Entry level position

  • Basic PC skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office Suites and/ or other software packages

  • Ability to work at heights above 20’ on lifts and ladders.

  • Proficient with operating a drill and basic hand tools.

  • Proficient with reading a tape measure and calculating distances.

  • Ability to follow direction and complete multi-step processes.

  • Proficient with learning new tasks.

  • Effective verbal and written communication skills

  • Consistently handles project priorities, meets deadlines, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.

  • Ability to analyze and make good basic decisions.

  • Manage through conflict issues at a team/project level.

  • Participates as a team player to achieve organizational goals and objectives.

 

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Works with project management, field staff and sub-contractors to complete projects to the customer’s satisfaction.

  • Light construction responsibilities in accordance to the projects Scope of Work.

  • Develops and maintains positive relationships with co-workers and sub-contractors.

  • Completes punch-list process and close-out procedures.

  • Supports others in providing customer service and satisfaction.

  • Travel as required to support projects, manage staff and vendors, project schedules, inspections, education, customers and training.
